The Shins pronounce words the way that words should be pronounced.
Now Matt, we all know that you really don't think there is any band better than the decemberists, but kudos to you for being brave and writing about something other than the Decemberists on your blog. I know it must have taken a lot of stregnth and courage.
Actually they seem like a cross between, BNL, Decemberists, Green Day, and They Might Be Giants, but, again, better than all of them, and sounding like they are from the 70's. Yet I don't really find them remarkable. I mean, they are good, but compared to a lot of my stuff they are not so great.
They are kind of a band of no offence to nobody.
